About 30 miles outside of Las Vegas take time to visit the Hoover Dam, considered an engineering marvel at the time of its construction in the 1930’s. Take the old section of Route 66 that still exists between Kingman and Seligman and pass through Peach Springs, the model for Radiator Springs in the Disney movie Cars. If time permits, pay a visit to the drive-thru wild-life discovery park BEARIZONA where you can enjoy seeing bison, big horn sheep, wolves and bears.
